Rules for Capitalization in Titles of Articles
Gaya MLA umumnya digunakan dalam seni liberal atau humaniora, sedangkan gaya AP populer digunakan dalam jurnalisme.
Umumnya, bagian kalimat ini harus menjadi huruf besar pada judul, seperti:
Verbs: study, clean, play, wait, paint, travel, invite, call, hire;
Adjectives: actually, afraid, alike, adorable, cheap, hard;
Nouns: desk, car, computer, pencil, chair, glass;
Pronouns: he, she, it;
Adverbs: fastly, really, quickly, quietly, always, often, rarely;
Subordinating conjunctions: as, because, that, after, wherever, though.
Yang tidak perlu dijadikan huruf besar pada judul: kata-kata yang pendek, yang kurang dari lima huruf, bukan huruf besar melainkan tetap memakai huruf kecil dalam judul, kecuali kata tersebut merupakan kata pertama dalam judul, seperti:
Coordinating Conjunctions: or, for, nor, and, but, etc.
Prepositions (fewer than five letters): to, at, by, from, on, etc.
Articles: the, a, an.
